Married a Margaret someone. Ben was a mining engineer on the West Coast. He rode over to Auntie May, said “Come on over, let’s get married”. She went, they married. He discovered she was pregnant to someone else. But, the family said that someone else was Jim Bodie, who married Queenie. Ouch. A mite of feeling there, as Mum says. The eldest son, Benjamin III, was the spitting image of Jim Bodie apparently, and he lived down south somewhere, losing contact with the rest of the family. Lovely gossip.
