The Carlisle Patriot, Friday, December 5, 1890, devoted almost three entire columns to Violet’s wedding, including a list of all the attendees, a list of all the presents given, etc etc. As well as a list of all the tenants who received invitations. My goodness, how nice of them to invite some of the tenants. The rest were entertained, apparently, on Wednesday.
