Another of Maurice's sons, Louis iv, styled Chevalier de Montredon, was for nine years in the Regiment de Poitou, taking part in the campaign in Piedmont in 1744. Later he transferred to the Regiment de Foix, with which he was on active service in Westphalia in 1759.

BBB says nothing more about this Louis at all, which is odd. A Chevalier de Montredon appears as a captain in a military list “Etat Militaire de France pour l’annee 1789”. I have no way of knowing whether or not it’s the same person, but I presume it is.
Louis de la Roque in his Armorial de la Noblesse de Languedoc, says that this Louis, the Chevalier de Montredon, died in 1805 in Nimes.
