of Wadhurst. There is a Newington pedigree given by Berry in his Sussex pedigrees788., but there are a number of Samuels, with no indication in Berry which was the father of my Elizabeth. However, Geoff West has identified her as the daughter of this particular one. The identification is not absolutely certain, but pretty good.
