[C-D, IV, 605]. A lot of Fiennes are given in [C-D, VIII, 38ff] but none of them match this Marguerite. At any rate, those Fiennes were a very important lot, which would surely have been mentioned if Marguerite had been of that family. [C-D, VIII, 50] also gives a very brief mention of other Fiennes in Languedoc, but gives no details except their coat of arms (D’or, au lion de gueules, armé & lampassé de sable, à la cotice d’azur, brochant sur le tout.) It’s more likely that this Marguerite was of the Languedoc branch, and thus untraceable through C-D.
