[C-D, IV, 597]. Antoine and Raymond de Calvière were brothers, Chevaliers, residing at Montfrin, in the Diocese of Uzès, on the 4th of August, 1508. They bought their lands in the Seigneurie of Montfrin from brother Charles-Alleman de Roche-Chinard, Grand Prior of Saint-Gilles, by a contract dated 10 May 1510. It’s not known if Antoine was married. [It appears he was, according to
655.]
Arms according to [C-D, IV, 607]: D’or, à trois fasces de sable, chargées chacune de deux besans d’argent; au chef de même chargé d’un sanglier passant de sable. Mémoire envoyé. It’s not clear which of the family used these arms, or whether all branches did. I’ll just use them for the lot.
