Woolendraper in Aldgate, he looked after his sister’s two boys (Richard and John Davenport) when their mother died when they were quite young. His estate was left to his sisters (8 Oct. 1742) who were both living in 1760.86 The sisters are both mentioned in Richard Davenport’s letters86.
