          MEREDITH—SNEYD.
     The marriage of Miss Alma Ethel Sneyd, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Sneyd, of Mangere, to Mr. Athol James Roland Meredith, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Meredith, of Papakura, was solemnised at St. John's Church, Royal Oak, recently. The Rev. W. Harrison performed the ceremony. The. bride, who was given away by her brother, wore an ensemble suit, of vieux rose bengaline trimmed with biscuit - coloured georgette and white furs. A close-fitting white hat trimmed with flowers was worn, and she carried a shower bouquet, of white roses and sweet peas. The. bridesmaid, Miss Jean Sneyd, sister of the bride, wore a frock of applegreen charmeuse, made with an uneven hemline. She also wore a white felt hat and carried a bouquet of pink roses and sweet peas. The bridegroom's brother was best man.
