Kate's Francis St. house in Blenheim

(comments from Mum) The house is the the one Kate bought in Francis St. when she came to town from the farm. I was about 13. She converted most of the upstairs to a flat and let it to a quiet, mousy, genteel little woman, Miss ??, who worked at the Library. They never graduated to first names. I stayed there when Mum and Dad went on their 6 month junket to the USA etc. She sold up and appeared in Dunedin with her worldly possessions in a suitcase when we were in the Forbury Rd flats.
