Boileau Mausoleum, fully restored.
Boileau Mausoleum at Ketteringham. This photo was sent to me in September, 2008, by Mary Parker, the churchwarden of Ketteringham. It had just been restored. In Mary's words:
"Only Sir John and Lady Sarah Boileau are in there [the mausoleum] as their descendants preferred to be buried nearby.
In the long shot view of the mausoleum the graves in the foreground are, from left to right, Sir Raymond Frederic (4th baronet) and his wife Lady Ethel (the novelist) Boileau both died 1942, Sir Maurice Colborne B (3rd baronet) died 1937, Dr Margaret Lucy Augusta Boileau died 1923. Behind the trunk of the sweet chestnut on the right of the mausoleum is the grave of Sir Francis George Manningham B (2nd baronet) (died 1900) and Lady Lucy Augusta (nee Nugent) his wife (died 1925)."
